On September 8, students from Zaoksky University volunteered their time and energy to help organize and host a commemorative celebration in partnership with the Museum of the Cruiser «Varang» Commander V.F. Rudneva. This special event marked two significant anniversaries: the 40th anniversary of the museum’s founding and the 120th anniversary of the historic cruiser «Varang.» Despite a powerful snowstorm brought on by Cyclone «Olga,» which blanketed the Tula province, the dedicated student volunteers were undeterred. Early in the morning, they took on the considerable task of clearing the entire museum area, ensuring it was accessible and welcoming for guests. Beyond clearing the snow, the students also played an essential role in setting up a traditional field kitchen, providing a warm and hearty experience for attendees who had traveled from various regions. The students’ efforts added to the warmth and success of the celebration, allowing visitors to enjoy both the historical significance of the event and a sense of community.

This celebration was a true success, thanks in no small part to the selfless dedication of Zaoksky University’s volunteer students. Their contributions highlighted the spirit of service and camaraderie that defines the Zaoksky community. Thank you to everyone who helped make this day memorable!
