Conditions for financial support for SDA Church members and their children

To receive financial support from a church organization for studying in a bachelor’s degree program (Theology, Teacher Education), you must complete the following steps:

1

Characteristics of the local community

Tell the pastor of your SDA congregation about your desire to study at Zaoksky University and ask for a reference from the local congregation. The reference is written in free form and must contain information that the church does not object to your studies.

2

Direction of the church organization

Then you need to contact the CRO (centralized religious organization) to which your community belongs — this can be a conference, mission or union. If the CRO is ready to support you financially with the prospect of subsequent employment, it will issue you a referral to study at ZAU with a guarantee of payment of 25% of the cost of tuition, accommodation and food.

3

Agreement with Zaoksky University
Finally, you need to come to Zaoksky University and sign a contract for targeted training. If you have a referral from the CRO, you receive a 100% discount and undertake to work for 4 years after graduation as assigned by the sponsoring organization. If you do not have a referral, you receive a 75% discount and undertake to work for 3 years after graduation as assigned by ZAU. Also, when receiving financial support, you agree to participate in the university’s volunteer activities for 10 hours a week during your studies.
