The earlier a person begins to learn a foreign language, the easier it is to master it. An English teacher is someone who can help master a new language from early childhood. Having mastered this profession, you will be able to have a serious influence on other people, significantly expanding their horizons, opportunities and circle of communication.

Program content

The main disciplines studied within the program:

  • Grammar and phonetics of the English language
  • Educational psychology
  • Methods of teaching foreign languages
  • Education and upbringing of children with disabilities
  • Age anatomy, physiology and hygiene
  • Christian Ethics

Advantages

The program has state and international accreditation. Students are granted a deferment from military service for the duration of their studies. During their studies, in addition to the profession of «teacher», there is an opportunity to obtain the qualification of «translator».

Career

A graduate of the «Pedagogical Education» program (profile «English Teacher») receives a state-recognized diploma of higher education and can teach a foreign language at school, additional education organizations, work as a tutor, or open their own English language courses.

ENTRANCE EXAMS

To enroll in the English Teacher program, you must pass the following entrance exams:

Russian language (USE, ZAU) — minimum 40 points

English language (USE, ZAU) — minimum 40 points

Interview (ZAU) — minimum 70 points

Citizens of the Russian Federation without higher or secondary vocational education provide the results of the Unified State Exam (passed no earlier than 2021) as the results of general educational entrance exams. Other applicants can provide the results of the Unified State Exam or take entrance exams at Zaoksky University. The dates for passing entrance exams at ZAU are August 25-28, 2025. Click:
